In 2000, it was the first company to be awarded a contract by Verizon, which at the time was a new company formed by the merger of Bell Atlantic and GTE. More recently in 2011, The Mega Group was awarded the Outstanding Small Business of the Year award from the Mid-Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
